Objective: Given the pivotal role of women in the family, this study aimed to develop a flourishing psych-educational protocol based on Seligman's theory adapted for the Iranian cultural context. Method: This qualitative study utilized a descriptive phenomenological approach with semi-structured interviews. The statistical population consisted of women with substance-dependent husbands referring to the Naranon association in Khomein in 2023. Sampling continued until theoretical saturation was reached with 32 participants. The interviews were analyzed using the seven-step Colaizzi method. Results: The results showed that the flourishing of women whose husbands are substance-dependent can be categorized into nine core themes: self-awareness, life satisfaction, spirituality, effective communication, achievement, hopefulness, life management, empathy, and intimacy. Conclusion: Psychologists and psychotherapists working in the field of addiction can use this flourishing psych-educational protocol, which is based on Seligman's theory adapted to the Iranian cultural context, to empower women with substance-dependent spouses and mitigate the harm caused by substance use within the families of substance-dependent individuals.
