The present research tries to compare self-esteem and attribution styles among two groups of addicted and non-addicted adolescents and their relations. By applying comparative-causal method among 15-18 year-old alodescents in special centers, 50 adolescents were selected. The same number of non- addicts, some of whom had common characterisics as same as the first group, were also selected by using multi-stage cluster method. After gathering and analyzing the information by applying t tests and correlation coefficient as well as examing different assumptions, we achieved the following findings:
• Non-addicted individuals have more internal, sustainable and general attributions.
• Non-addicted individuals are more self-esteem.
• There is a meaningful relationship between different aspects (interior-exterior,sustainable-unsustainable,general-particular, pleasant-unpleasant) of attribution styles in each group.
