Accordingly, the purpose of this research is Comparative study of the role of religious and spiritual orientations in the Sustained Abandonment in Kashan region. Method: This research is a qualitative-comparative study and is applicable in terms of purpose. The statistical population in the qualitative section includes three groups of therapists and addicted researchers, people who succeeded in leaving addiction and their families and in the quantitative section, includes recoveries and addicted patients In 1397, in Kashan. Using stratified sampling method and Purposeful sampling method, 31 were selected in qualitative section and 343 in quantitative section as sample. Data collection was a semi-focused interview and the combination of Standard Parganet questionnaire, Alport and some researcher-made scales which were analyzed using MAXQDA and SPSS software. Findings: The results of the research in the field of sustained abandonment showed that the religious and spiritual orientations of patients in three areas affect the process of endemic drug treatment: the field of religious / therapeutic functions (Mobility and therapeutic motivation, achieving mental relaxation, Self-centered negation, The perception of the spiritual flow of life, the change of the source of value verification, Self-control in treatment), the field of religious / therapeutic requirements (limiting the participation of collective rituals, avoiding religious ritualism) and the purity tool (religious therapy group). In the analytical dimension, structural equation modeling showed that the effect of religious and spiritual orientation on the sustained drug abandonment is direct and relatively strong.
