Methods: This study is a Quasi – experimental research which is carried on with 2 groups of control and experimental subjects by using an experimental variable (training in relation ship skills for 8 sessions), in this study we have also used a pretest and a post test and follow up was used after 2 months. The study tool was marital adjustment measure of Spanier (1979) with 4 factors including marital satisfaction .mutual correlation, mutual agreement and love expression. To measure the possibility addicts ‘relapsing to drug, experimental test for fast recognition (Rapid) was utilized. The selection of samples was done through available sampling and for analysis of data repeated measures of variance analysis and χ2 statistical test were used in this study. Findings: The result showed that training in communicative skills with a cognitive-behaviorist approach influences positively general adjustment. No positive effect was noticed in marital satisfaction and mutual correlation factors. There is positive effect of training skills on mutual agreement and love expression factors. Furthermore, the prevention of addicts from relapsing in male addicts, the number of relapse in control group is more than experimental group but this different was not significant. The Two experimental groups take 12 weekly session two hours group therapy plus Naltroxan group took Naltroxan only. The data were analyzed with using analysis of variance with repeated measures and chi-square tests. Findings: therapy compliance, retention in treatment, decrease in somatic symptoms, anxiety, social dysfunction and increase in health was significantly in both combination of psychological intervention method than the Naltroxan group. Also, some democratic information regarding substance- dependents collected. Research data were analyzed by inferential and descriptive statistics. Findings: This research showed that there are significant differences in temperament dimensions of novelty seeking and harm avoidance and character dimensions of self-direction and cooperativeness of Cloninger model and neuroticism and psychosis dimensions of Eysenck model between substance- dependent men and normal men. This research was carried out to assess the role of dysfunctional attitudes, outcomes of psychology in substance abuse behaviors of subject were referred to addiction treatment center in the city of Bandar Abbas, and to compare the with the control group. Methods: This is a retrospective study in which 100 subject substance abusers were compared with 100 subject s of control group who were selected using convenience sampling and were also demographically matched. Data were gathered using a demographic questionnaire, clinical interview, dysfunctional attitudes scale (DAS), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS). The data were analyzed via descriptive statistic method, T- Test and chi-square and variance analysis. Findings: Findings indicated that in comparison with control group, subject of substance abusers had experienced more stress, anxiety, depression, had shown a cognitively more percent of them dysfunctional attitudes in comparison with control group. The RP model proposed by Marlatt and Gordon suggests that both immediate determinants (e.g.,high- risk situations, coping skills, outcome expectancies, and the abstinence violation effect) and covert antecedents (e.g., lifestyle factor and urges and cravings) can contribute to relapse.The RP model also incorporates numerous specific and global intervention strategies that allow therapist and client to address each step of the relapse process. Specific interventions include identifying specific high-risk situations for each client and enhancing the client's skills for coping with those situations, increasing the client's self- efficacy, eliminating myths regarding alcohol's effects, managing lapses, and restructuring the client's perceptions of the relapse process. Global strategies comprise balancing the client's lifestyle and helping him or her develop positive addictions, employing stimulus control techniques and urgemanagement techniques, and developing relapse road maps. Several studies have provided theoretical and practical support for the RP model.}, Keywords = {AODD (alcohol and other drug dependence) relapse, relapse prevention, treatment model, cognitive therapy, behavior therapy, risk factors, }, volume = {2}, Number = {7}, pages = {91-114}, publisher = {Drug Control Headquarters, Research & Education Office }, url = {http://etiadpajohi.ir/article-1-454-en.html}, eprint = {http://etiadpajohi.ir/article-1-454-en.pdf}, journal = {Scientific Quarterly Research on Addiction}, issn = {2008-4307}, eissn = {2423-6535}, year = {2008} } @article{ author = {}, title = {}, abstract ={}, Keywords = {}, volume = {2}, Number = {7}, pages = {115-122}, publisher = {Drug Control Headquarters, Research & Education Office }, url = {http://etiadpajohi.ir/article-1-455-en.html}, eprint = {http://etiadpajohi.ir/article-1-455-en.pdf}, journal = {Scientific Quarterly Research on Addiction}, issn = {2008-4307}, eissn = {2423-6535}, year = {2008} }
